Buckner > Kinlaw + Arnstead

Perception is interesting but this is a bad equation. You gotta throw Trent Williams in and Ward. Because of the contract structure, they weren't going to be able to do Buckner. Also our defense is better without him even though Buckner is the better player. Gotta have proper perspective. If we play the Chiefs in 2019 with our run D of the last 2-3 seasons, they are totally one dimensional. Kinlaw is definitely headed in the wrong direction if he has to miss any time this season but the team overall is better because of the decision. So we can kill the Buckner comparisons.

Trading Buckner wasn't the wrong decision. Had too because of the cap. It was just their selection at #14 that right now appears to be the mistake. Right move, wrong draft choice. They were so focused on trying to replace Buckner when they didn't really have to. They were loaded on the Dline and Kocurek is so good at getting the best out of anybody. Should have just went BPA at 14.

Should have stayed at 13 and taken Wirfs

My man.
wirfs aint doing too much

We certainly could have used him on our playoff runs.

by your hypothesis, Wirfs wouldn't last that long in this scheme.. so i doubt he would help us

Haha. We would have had to use both Mike McGlinchey AND Tristan Wirfs at RT to make it.

To root next to McGlinchey on the bench?

Do we have any info on what knee it is? Is it a maintenance day? Did he hurt it in the game or practice?

Are you gonna do this every single time he doesn't practice?

yes, yes he is

Are you saying I am wrong and that Armstead and Kinlaw are better than Buckner? You saw them all play here, you know who they are.

Just need him to be better than the guards and centers he will go up against. Buckner's value in comparison is completely irrelevant.

Glad we have Kinlaw and Aiyuk here to develop instead.

He was ranked #41 in the top 100 NFL players. PFF ranked him as the third best tackle in the game and he's made the pro bowl. If that's not doing much your really going to be disappointed with Kinlaw.
We F***ed this pick up it's as simple as that.
I wanted AJ Terrell
