The griddy definitely looks different when a guy his size does it.

I'm not the only one who thought that. Several people I watched the game with and on the webzone thought the same thing. It definitely didn't look like the griddy.

Anyway I'm done talking about a dude's dance moves.

I've seen Kirk Cousins and Adam Thielen try to do it. That would be my definition of horrible.

I have to watch the game again too, but from what I remember - I didn't feel he got pushes around.

I don't know how we got there.

There are definitely a few people in this thread who have talked enough crap about him that now are more interested in being right than him being a success, so they downplay everything he does.

Whoever it is must be talking about one play I recall him being tied up with the C and a Guard knocked him to the ground from the side. Pushed around is a stretch and this is coming from someone who is yet to be sold on Kinlaw

All I was saying is that I believe I saw Kinlaw have high pad level couple times during the game.

Unlike Soloman Thomas, Kinlaw has the potential to justify his draft selection IMO. He's incredibly strong, has strong hands, he can bend, and he's still a raw player because he hasn't played a lot of football if I remember right.

I'm not even down on the player at all. I was a fan during the draft process and that hasn't changed. He has more upside than DJ but I think people underrated how consistent DJ was stopping the run.

I'm worried about our run defense because Kinlaw is currently inconsistent, has an injury history, and our backup NTs are subpar compared to previous seasons.

I hope I'm wrong and our run defense isn't an issue at all. Y'all see one criticism and assume there must be a "hater" behind it. SMH.
Barring anymore injuries, Kinlaw looks to make his naysayers and Mr Grant Clown mouth eat their words for saying he isn't good enough to replace Buckner when 100% healthy. Like I've said Kinlaw is a more athletic and powerful version of Buckner..

if you look at the statistics when kinlaw has layed our run defense has been absoutly stout even when he was playing injured

I just need Kin to eat up two blockers and let our LBers fly around to stop the run

He's so damn big maybe he can't get that low pad level 😂

I think on obvious passing downs it's going to look like a damn video game watching this line collapse the pocket.

Would that arm over move be the best complimentary move to the bull rush? Maybe bull-jerk is better? I think if he can develop one good second move to work off his bull rush, he can be a contributor on pass rush downs. Just two moves for now, then add more as he progresses.
Here we are again talking about a guy that we knew was raw when he was drafted. Then he got injured and missed an entire season. This is really the second season for a prospect that's coming off of surgery. We need to have some patience with him and hope his knee holds up. Look at how Armstead has improved.

Man some of you guys crack me up. First Kinlaw is a glorified run defender with no pass rush. Now he's getting pushed around in the run game?
He doesn't even look human anymore, he looks like something out of comic book.
Happy he had a good game. We need him to play well.
