Who's azz? Grants azz?

As a rabid 49er fan, that side of me wouldn't mind it a bit. I just hope it's done with plausible deniability, such that Kinlaw isn't in any danger of being suspended or punished.

Lol that alone would make the drafting of Kinlaw worth it.

I totally agree!

If trashcan Cohn is banned from the 49ers facilities, and we don't ever see SI articles or his clown face on the social media feed here on the webzone, that would be so far the biggest contribution Kinlaw has made to the organization so far.
Advice: If you like searching for 49ers content on youtube, I suggest using "49ers -grant". The "-" is an operator of a keyword to ignore. It doesn't eliminate the entire results from the clown, but at least it filters out some of his gargabe content. Unfortunately haven't found a way to just ban his content from my youtube feed. There should be a way to tell YT "I don't want to see content from X account from my results"

Great advice, and while there are a lot of Mr. Cone-head fans, there are much more 49er fans that just want fair and balanced reporting. Us rabid 49er fans don't need opinions, just the facts, so we can form our own opinions. Cone is just an entertainer, his pieces are designed to elicit a reaction like typical clowns or comedians like to do. Like others have said, he doesn't need a press pass to do that, nor will his livelihood be hurt by taking away his press privileges - he'll still be able to clown and do 49er gag pieces on the internet.

True. But without the press he will only have his youtube channel, so it'd be easier to avoid his stupidity. Here in the webzone it's annoying to check out the twitter feed at the bottom and see his spam polluting the feed. Even if the 49ers doesn't remove his credentials, webzone could and should remove his content.

If you go back in the thread you can see that I think it's pretty silly of Armstead (and by extension, us) to try to assert with a straight face that we actually believe Cohn was serious about wishing Kinlaw would hit him so he could sue him into oblivion and retire.

Grant Cohn is a dumb troll. "I wish you would hit me! I'd sue you and blah blah blah" is a dumb thing that dumb people have been saying for my entire life.

Pretending to take anything Cohn says seriously because it feels momentarily useful isn't the move, IMO.

He's already gotten another full day of content pretending to be incredulous about people pretending to have taken that seriously.

Break the troll cycle, man.

Who cares if he was serious or not. He said it. This is a golden opportunity for the 49ers to get him out of the building. Several players have had issues with him over several years. Pull his press pass.
Same people that criticize Jimmy G every day say that Cohn crossed a line with Kinlaw. Pure comedy.

Uh, dude was serious about wanting to sue if Kinlaw punched him. He's just too big of an idiot to know that a punch in the face wouldn't make him a multi millionaire, no matter who punches him.

What? Why is that comedy? Jimmy G deserves the criticism, and Cohn crossed a line with Kinlaw. Please enlighten me on what's so funny about either.

Biggest difference between a fan on a message board and Grant is that he is credentialed and allow in the locker room. If he was just some Youtuber his actions wouldn't be an issue

It doesn't really matter what anyone thinks about Grant Cohen's writing. But the defense of the way Kinlaw behaved is sad. If Kinlaw had just come on the show and said how he disagreed with him and he was going to prove him wrong, how he doesn't know what he's talking about etc...that's all good. But the way Kinlaw was acting is not "normal" and shouldn't be normalized or defended.

Why do you care about Kinlaw yelling at some troll?

I do not care one bit.

How does one deserve criticism but not the other?. What about Dee Ford? No one has received as much criticism as those two. Let's just hope kinlaw produces something special this year considering what we gave up for him ( Buckner + 14th ovr ) anything less than a solid season from Kin and the criticism will continue to mount. Same goes for any player that was drafted In the first round.

Lol he needs to save that energy for O-Linemen, not a trolling journalist.

Not sure who you're referring to, but Cohn absolutely deserves criticism for pushing his narrative on Kinlaw so hard to just make money. Jimmy deserve criticism for making more money than he earned. I don't believe Kinlaw, Ford, or even Hurd deserved the criticism they received, as injuries are not exactly under their control.

I'd be fine with Jimmy talking to them the way Linlaw talked to Cohner.

I'm mostly referring to the players being sensitive over criticism. Ford and Jimmy have been bashed non stop and have yet to lash out the way kinlaw did. Right or wrong. That's just how It Is when your an entertainer. They are grown men and should know not to respond to the nonsense they see and hear. As for Grant, we all know he can be over the top, but why do we care what he has to say? He's Irrelevant. My advice to kin, would to build some thick skin, because it's only gonna get worst if he doesn't produce this season the way a first round player should.
If Kinlaw had single-handedly cost us a Super Bowl like Jimmy did, then the fans vitriol toward him would make a lot more sense. Either way, it's not appropriate for a reporter.

Gotcha. I agree that Kinlaw's response was completely wrong. Personally wish he could use that anger on the field against opposing QBs and prove Cohn wrong instead of what he did. That being said, I still put the blame on Cohn and think this should cost him access to the team.
