I mean, they need to teach these young players that the media's job is to say anything, no matter how personal or offensive, to try to get you to react negatively and you just can't ever let it get to you.

They do. It's called the NFL Rookie Transition Program. Every team gives their rookies a week-long course on this stuff.

They probably do, but it's probably not geared towards dealing with the Grant Cohns of the world.

Basically how I feel. Not the worst thing that could have happened, but still an awful look for Javon. Not a fan of Grant's but this is exactly what he wants.

I remember last year during TC that Cohn would post a video literally every day calling Kinlaw soft and other things for not practicing. It got to be a bit much. Like damn, do we really need a reporter posting 50 videos in 2 months all singling out one player calling him mentally weak for being injured?
