They've invested a lot in the DL so even if he is not healthy the depth is very good.

Just looking at Samson Ebukam and Jordan Willis - just projecting their 2021 sack records from the 2nd half of the season (vs the first half, I'm ignoring that statistically) for a whole season, I come up with around 8 sacks projected for both Samson and Jordan, give or take a sack or two. [ NOTE: we lost DJ Jones 2 sacks, kentavius street 3 sacks, and Arden key's 6 sacks for this season]

Add and total that to Nick's 15.5, Arik's 6.0 -- Ebukam 8 (projected), Jordan Willis 8 (projected), Drake Jackson 4 (projected); Kerry Hyder 8 (projected) that = 49.5 sacks (not including DB and LB's sacks ) I'm not even projecting Kinlaw's, Hurst's, Kemoko's or Ominihu's potential numbers onto that total either.

On paper this DLine will be terrorizing QB's in 2022.

I actually agree with this. Not only because of Buck, but the pick itself was stupid when both Wirfs and Lamb would've been the better pick

^ Moving forward I really hope he does something with all that size and isn't just a rotation run stuffing DT. Kid absolutely does have the potential to be great

Agreed. It was bad enough that we traded away Buckner to begin with. It was made worse by replacing him with another DT who at this point has no pass rush moves and has Injury concerns.

Holy crap, if Kinlaw and The Drake both pan out…..
This defense will be filthy! Imagine a completely healthy D this year…..
