That defense is pretty good. The offensive line is huge. They have some outstanding young WR's. That team would be beastly with Brady. Better than the current Patriots.

They also have a beastly run game something Brady hasn't had in a long time.

Yeah it might be enough to beat the Chiefs. Maybe. Mahomes is unbelievable and that track team is amazing. The AFC is the favorite if it comes to that. Those 2 teams. Baltimore maybe a little in play. I actually think we drop off some. I don't want to. But usually the Super Bowl loser does.

B) Garoppolo is not Alex Smith. It is a ridiculous comparison showing a lack of understanding.

The only reason this is a ridiculous comparison is because we watched Jimmy all season long. He was incredible on 3rd down. He willed our team to win games. He didnt hide in his shell after making a mistake. He ran a potent offense. All of those things Alex Smith does not or cannot do.

However, if one was to only watch the playoffs, the comparison is absolutely spot on. For 2 games, we took the passing offense out of the equation and let the defense and running game win for us. And for the Superbowl, Jimmy was asked to carry the team and failed.

The bolded is nonsense. Did you watch the film?

Jimmy was 17/20 until the final 10 minutes. In that time the Oline, in particular the inside O Line failed to protected Jimmy most of the time and he was getting smashed by linebackers and DT just as he was throwing the ball. Jones batted 2 passes down because the Oline couldn't contain his hands. In that time when there was some pass protection Jimmy was throwing clutch to Bourne. He overthrew one pass to Saunders. That was his only mistake.

Enough with this false narrative. Go and watch the film.

This is all about people wanting to see a storybook ending with Brady coming home to the Bay Area to finish his career and maybe lead the Niners to a 6th SB win tying his old team. Makes for a great story that could be made into one of the many crappy sports movies but it's not happening.

Only reason I would want Brady is bc the NFL will do all they can to make that happen lol. It would've been a holding on Bosa if we had Brady.
Storybook endings are rare...last time it really happened was when Elway won SB's his last 2 seasons. IF the Niners made the deal, it'd have to be Jimmie G centric. There's no way they have the cap space without that. Beyond that, they'd have to address the C & RG positions. Brunskill should start over Person, but C could still be murky w/Richburg coming off the IRL again. They'd have to protect Brady so he'd have the time to get the ball downfield. I doubt we see it happen...but, if it did, pass pro would have to be ratcheted up.
Tom won't accept a story book ending. He's too greedy. He wins one at 45 and he'll play 5 more years.
