Jags and Bears make all the sense in the world for Alex.

So now that your efficiency argument has been proven to be completely absurd, what else do you have for us?
Are you suggesting that Tannehill's numbers would approach his stats this year if he had been plugged into Washington's offense?
I find that interesting...
For the record, I don't want to see Alex in SF.
I am suggesting that the poster claiming that the worse QB could win more games for the Titans than the better QB, because the worse QB is more efficient, was talking out of his you know what.
Nothing more, nothing less.
Pull the stats on the type of injury Alex had and the infection. Point is, the dude just defies stats. His recovery was efficient.
Alex is the defier of all things. All he does is manage wins. He was one Kyle Williams fumble from his first SB ring. He was a horrible stab in the back benching away from a possible second SB ring. He is the luckiest QB ever up until the moment he gets benched.
His games are like pulling teeth. But he wins.
I agree. Part of it is when he has the lead he's more conservative with his play which leads to lower stat averages overall.
It's not inconceivable that he would win more because once he has the lead he minimizes turnovers and risky plays. This would lead to a lot of nail bitting close wins but also less boneheaded turnover game changing losses.
He's an elite game manager. He's probably one of the best closers as far as minimizing game changing plays on offense of any qb. He has elite football iq.
It's getting the lead and closing gaps where his style of play struggles badly.bhe doesn't have the arm strength mobility or athetlicism to create game changing plays.
You put him on the cowboys a couple years back with elliot and that oline, the vikings when AP was in his prime, or the rams when gourley was in his prime and he game manages at least a superbowl if not more than one.

Just can't help it when people continually put down other QBs in effort to prop up Alex. Tannehill has become a really good quarterback.

You mean 1 fumble and a victory against the 7 time SB champion away from his 1st ring. Tom vs Alex. Bill vs JH. I'm sure that's going to be an easy one for us

The raging Tannehill/Smith debate in 2021. Thanks for clearing that up for us

No one wants the QB controversy he would bring.

One nice thing about Alex Smith is he would actually tutor a rookie QB. I am not sure JG would.
