Wanna bet?

If Jeudy or Ruggs or even Lamb aren't better than Sanders was last year I'll be shocked. He average 3.6 receptions and 50 yards per game. Ruggs and Jeudy could do that in one catch since they're both faster and bigger than Sanders. Sanders was fine for last year but he wasn't a difference maker. There will be a learning curve for the new receivers but what they lack in experience they can make up for in superior talent.

Your way undervaluing what Sanders brought to the table.

We we're on the verge of making the playoffs last year before we traded for Sanders so I don't see your point.

The Saints game is on right now and Sanders was a beast for us. This is not a minor loss at all. It will be a good future move but to say any rookie WR will come in and definitely do what he did is foolish.

I'm disappointed that he's gone, but I'm moving on with it... Deebo, Bourne, one of the top 3 WRs, Kittle and the run game should be enough. Hurd and anyone else stepping up will be a plus.

It's all up to JG and Shanny (AGAIN) to put up more points and win shootouts

We can't always depend on the defense, I don't know if it will be as dominant as 2019

He meant super bowl. We re not getting there without a quality vet at wr like Sanders.

I know this isn't the right thread for this, but I keep thinking to myself... I thought Parag was this genius cap worker and I was under no impression that we would be in a cap squeeze. I've been scratching my head because I thought we structured the contracts to give us space every year. What the hell happened?

His supposed cap genius was because of a bunch of retirements and cuts over suspensions

Paraag is one of the best cap managers but the thing is he can't force anyone to take a team friendly deal. If Buckner is demanding to get paid we either have to shell it out or be like NE and trade him beforehand. If we can only offer Sanders reduced market value he's going to shop around. If he likes NO more that's where he'll go. You can't fault him sometimes you just can't do this dance with everyone.

Apparently no one thought we'd make the super bowl last season too. How did that work out?

deebo and then hoping.. better not be the plan. we are right back to where we were before sanders and you know how s**tty that was

Exactly, that seems to be the "plan" as of right now which is not going to be a good thing.
