Yup dude is tough for playing it out...I hope both parties come to an agreement for him to stay

It sucks because I feel like Pettis has that same skill set as Sanders. Good route-runners, top end athletes same size etc. Pettis had some of the best hands in college as well

I have no idea what happened to him. Dropping balls, miscommunication, not playing tough football

Had he only developed how Shanny envisioned, that WR unit would've been sick

But yeah, "dropping balls" like he got neutered and playing soft af

Pretty much

I don't see Sanders re-signing with us...he'd be a nice-to-have, given the commitment to give Kittle & Buckner big extensions and the desire to retain Armstead. Pettis and/or Bourne could give Coach similar production, but will both have to step up their games. A healthy Taylor and Hurd will give Jimmy considerably more talent to work with, as well. If they can find a good-sized fast WR in the draft, all the better.

Agreed, I don't see sanders coming back. Dudes 32 and will be looking for that final payday. There will be a garbage team like the Jets giving him way more than we can afford. Unless sanders really serious about trying to come back and go for it on the team he said he loved being a part of and take a team friendly 2 year deal then he'll be back. They're going to need to go bargain bin in FA and draft one with one of their first 2 picks after they hopefully trade back.

I hope he does. A 3rd and 4th pick for a half year rental? Sheesh. Granted, we'd get something back next year with the comp pick, but still. I like Deebo and think he has the DNA to be a top guy sooner rather than later, but would prefer a legit threat opposite of him. I also think Shanahan likes what Sanders brings to the table.

For all intents and purposes it is a 3rd rd pick only.
2020 NFL free agency fits: Rivers to Colts? Gordon to Steelers?

4) Emmanuel Sanders, WR: Las Vegas Raiders
-- and he showed he still clearly has the speed to burn opponents when he slipped past the Chiefs' secondary on a play in Super Bowl LIV that could have helped San Francisco win the Lombardi Trophy, had Jimmy Garoppolo not overthrown him.

Lynch most be asking if they want that negative energy back with signing Sanders..
if they put it behind them great if not then that s**t gonna linger through out the 2020 season

Dee Ford offside in the AFCCG got him traded, maybe its just best to part ways and go after Green or Cooper.

Before Sanders got here our passing game was bad. He made it looks much better. And he was dealing with the rib injury and who knows whag else. Plus, giving up picks for a rental is just dumb. And its not like hes gonna be expensive.

All it would take is for Deebo or Kittle to get injured and our passing game will be awful without Sanders.

yeah but if he and/or the media are gonna bring that overthrown superbowl pass all season long then it can be a problem

So we are gonna trade Jimmy? Because hes the one who made the mistake, not Sanders.

Unless, Sanders signs for a team friendly contract - I say take a WR1 at #31 and move on.

dunno man
we have two options

1. keep the team as whole as possible
2. shift the roster and bring new faces.. double passing TEs, new WR and/or new DLs and safeties

i don't think lynch would go away from JG yet cause then the 2018 McGlinchey pick would look horrible,
since he was picked to protect JG and not getting minkah or derwin or even lamar jackson.

so point 1 will be the correct choice, i mean then why would Kwon restructure in the first place? if not to the bring the whole team back.

PS: could have had mahomes, watson or lamar.. 2 MVP's and a SB champion combined.. OMG jimmy OMG!

I'd offer him - 2 years, $12M - take it or leave it offer.

That's an insulting offer and the 49ers are not going to low ball a well respected NFL pro like that. Sanders is an established top 20 WR in this league and deserves to be paid like it.

Well if he isn't a top 20 established WR then you are saying
the 49ers got played and gave up way to much in the trade right?
