That just means he's a great athlete(if those #s are accurate). Ahkello has great athletic numbers as well, and we all know he plays like he's 5-9, 180 lbs.

It's a good point...but, NFL CBs have to be great athletes so that is a start. Going by the reports thus far from the Niners' camp as well as his college tape, he appears to have some skills. I also get that playing CB in the NFL is as much a mental game as it is physical (Richard Sherman being a good example of this) so Brown's mental strength is still a question mark.

In summation, I agree that it is far too early to assume that he gets a spot on the roster, but at the very least, he is going to provide good competition.

It seems pretty odd too. When asked about players who stood out, both Matts and Chris Biderman mentioned Brown as a darkhorse to make the team. Wonder if he really wasn't good enough or if there's more to it than that. Who knows.
