Good extension I bet it's for close to 6-7 million a year and now we have to extend Moseley.
He played well today

Great extension, likely in the $5M a yr range, Greenlaw is a really good player, maybe they sign Azeez next, or EMan.

Agree. Great extension, but I think they had to pick Greenlaw or Al Shaair. Now Greenlaw gets the contract, Al Shaair will likely walk. Al Shaair is good enough to be a 3 down stack LB for most teams. I don't think he wants to stay and play behind Fred and Greenlaw.

I figured it was one or the other. I wish we could keep all 3, but I'm glad we chose Greenlaw. Not sure what kind of deal Al-Shaair nets, but looks like a 6th or 7th round comp is coming our way in 2024.

They can have both easily. Just depends on the money.

Also this is a two year deal. They can go long term with Al-Shaair.

Not easily. What if Al-Shaair simply want to be a 3 down LB?

He easily can get a much bigger role on another team and more money. It'll suck losing him but I'll take the comp pick and the team does well drafting that position. Or they really like that Ball dude on the PS to take over next year

We could tag Al-Shaair if he has a great season.

Very unlikely. That would be $18M to $19M.

Yeah, not happening.

No lol. Unless he's taking a cheap deal, he's gone and even then, I can't see that much tied up in the LB position.
I like Dre... but he needs to be less careless out there. He could have easily been called for penalty when he was blindly uppercutting the ball carrier late in the game.. he was punching him in the belly and was no where near the ball.

No, they agreed to the deal before the game.

It's you.

It's you and you alone.
Plays a horrendous week 1.

Parrag: "John, we need to extend Greenlaw now. Buy low!"
Lynch: "On it! And BTW, great job on that Wishnowsky extension!"

This is typically how they do it do. Work from the bottom up. Looking forward to who's next!

It's a good signing. He's a good player. Pretty fair deal.
