Not sure if this has been discussed yet or not, but when you draft a PUNTER in the 4th round, I would assume that he's like super awesome, and I would expect that he's the best. But then I see that he was a 2nd team All-America for his last two years.......Excuse me? Not 1st team? Not even the best punter in college football? Guess I'm somewhat disturbed by that.

He won the Ray Guy award and was a finalist literally every other season. On top of that, he was widely considered the best punting prospect this draft class.
For reference, the other punter that was drafted, Jake Bailey, was 2nd team Pac-12. Any idea who beat him out?

I did see that he won the Ray Guy award back in 16', I think when he was in his late 20's lol.
Yeah, I'm not saying that he's not a really good punter. For me, it's about drafting him in the 4th round when there were some very good players still available for us. So, okay, but for that draft position he better be awesome because I'm pretty confident you can just sign one in free agency for cheap. Then I look at his senior year stats and he ranked #10, I said #10 !!! in punting yards.

It's terrible considering how bad our secondary is. This guy needs to be at least a top 3 punter to even remotely justify this pick.
