No doubt. Just saying in the case of CGJ and what we are missing that one hurts the most.

So now people are b***hing about the draft trade and missing players who were drafted before Wishnowsky? This is getting ridiculous.

I'll help you out since you don't understand or remember the draft. We needed an upgrade at Safety and CGJ was considered by most to be a fringe 1st round prospect. Well he fell in the draft and fell to our selection in the 4th round but we decided to trade back with the Bengals and then the very next pick CGJ was selected and we wound up with a Punter who isn't as good as a punter who wasn't even drafted that year. Hope this helps

The point is the draft expert evaluation is completely meaningless. CGJ wasn't drafted in the first 3 rounds, teams simply don't see him as a 1st round prospect, period.

Who said the 49ers would have draft CGJ the team didn't trade back?

Looking back at the draft with hindsight is simply a stupid game. All 32 teams could have and should have and would have drafted Tom Brady, who cares at this point... Hope this helps.

For those of us that were correct in wanting CGJ it shows we were onto something. Cause that's the fun during the draft to see if you could see the talent the experts didn't. But hey you can keep b***hing about people b***hing it's not at all gonna be an endless circle for you.

I am sure if we all play this mock draft game long enough we all look like expert. We all just need to ignore all of the bad picks in our mock draft and focus on the lucky excellent picks.

But hey you can keep b***hing about people b***hing about people b***hing, it is gonna be an endless circle for you.

Let me simplify this further for you; Mitch sux for a 4th round punter. There are many lower drafted/Udfa's better than him. Period!

Has nothing to do with me wanting to be an expert and everything to do with me being a Gator fan and watching the guy for years apply his trade at Florida. I am not surprised one bit that he has been so good. Guys fall sometimes (George Kittle anyone) when they shouldn't.

I agree with you that could do that with every pick. I don't think that's what I or hysterical are actually doing. It was one singe player we really liked that we wished the team had drafted, especially over a punter.

I hated the Frank Gore pick so I fully admit I am no expert on things.

If you want a thread where there are delusions of grandeur about expertise coupled with an aversion to ever admitting being wrong you want the OL thread not this one.

Keeping a close eye on SB contenders Buffalo with the wiaving of Araiza. Aparently it's pretty easy to bring in top flight FA Punters that will be as good as any 4th round pick should ever be according to some on here. And I agree that there are some good ones ............ between the ages of 29 and 40. However, they havent signed one yet and they play next thursday.

Man, your defending Mitch like a girlfriend who's about to be dumped and replaced. Don't think the Bills are dumb enough to draft a punter in the 4th unless he's a sure fire generational talent.
