Why per snap?

Do we rate pass rushers on snap percentage. If I sort DLine by snaps percentage will the top of the list correlate to best pass rushers? Just curious

Just interested to see if there is a disparity at all. That's it.

I think for the price we paid for him I kind of want him to be out on the field more. His bum knee isn't going away either. Might have to cut our losses if we don't make the playoffs

Hopefully Clowney if he walks after one year with the Hags

If Seahawks offer him a good contract he's gonna take it. He wants to be there. And clowney is hardly ever healthy. You'd be trading in a guy who struggles with injuries for a player who's even worse with injuries.

Is there anyone that wishes we didn't sign him? The contract is pretty much a two year contract with 3 years of team options. It's a great deal

He got Paraaged!!

He's missed 2 games in like 3 years and fits our system a lot better. In Comparison to Dee Ford, Clowney is a picture of perfect health 😂

Yeah but Clowney is not even at Ford's level in rushing the passer and creating pressure tho. Ford > Clowney in our scheme despite their draft positions.

Clowney is all hype - I like Ford better.

Lol naw not even close man. They both came into the league in 2014. Clowney has missed 18 games. Ford has missed 13 games. They are both pretty damn bad. Any injury you could think of and too many surgeries.

This isn't good health compared to even Jimmie Ward.

When Ford gets replaced - and I hope that won't be soon - it will be by a draft pick. Bet your pension on it.

Ford has missed more games in the past 3 years alone.

Yet Ford still performed a lot better by a mile than that Clowney in lesser games in the past 3 years alone. Give it up dude. Ford >>> Clown

Hope Dee can live up to the off-season hype. So far he hasn't been great at all

You can debate all day if he was worth a second round pick or not but I sure hope you aren't saying he hasn't had a tremendous impact on the season thus far. His pass rush at the end of the Bucs game directly led to a victory and his pressure against the Steelers saved us in a turnover prone game we really should have lost. The D-line absolutely bailed us out in both of those games and Ford is a huge part of that. There is more to this game then sacks, pressure matters and the man has forced opposing QB's into the waiting arms of others on multiple occasions.

It's just not worth it at a certain point. We got from being historically bad with interceptions (2 in 16 games) to generating 5 in 3 games, everyone on the starting D-line is looking good, AA having a career year, etc. Dee Ford is absolutely a part of all of that. Anyone that can't see it at this point doesn't want to see it. I'm only hoping that Skule can hold up so we aren't forced to draft a tackle with our first round pick. I'm thinking another speed rusher would be appropriate. It's A LOT of picks for the D-line, but we see the results.

What a pointless stat.

If he puts up another season like he did last year (when his health was even worse), which he is on pace to do, and continues to impact games like he already has, I could give a sh!t about snap counts.

Y'all trying way too hard to paint in a negative light an acquisition who has been stellar for us so far.
