D' FERRARI FORD!!!!

I love how he translates speed to power and just bulrushes the OT into the QB lap! I think so far he accounted for 2 sacks himself and gift wrapped like 2-3 sacks to his teammates.

I hope his knee holds up! He will be a force to reckon with. His speed with Bosa's power/hand usage will give us the DL that Giants had when they won their super bowl

I agree that the DLine is at super bowl quality level. Now about the rest of the defense, offense and special teams- we'll soon find out.

i think the linebackers are more than fine? of course still some worries in the secondary but not tragic . i think jason v will end up being a good player for us.. if i am wrong. well . we will just stick that in the cc folder of brandon thomas. marlon moore. jon baldwin etc

His burst is insane...I don't even care give him load management and throw him in on 3rd downs lol.

See QB hit QB, don't care about edge defending with him.

This. Lynch got him to hunt QB's and that's all he needs to do to live up to his contract and trade compensation. Limit his snaps in practice and during games. We only need him on passing downs.
He could have been called offsides on that sack. He's gotta be a little more careful about where he places his hand.

That being said, he's been awesome so far.

You would think costing his team a Superbowl trip last year would have taught him a lesson haha. Dude is so explosive. Shouldnt matter if he is lining up a few inches back from where he should be.

The pressure from the interior only makes him even more destructive when he is in. Just the threat of his presence prevents some double-teaming on the inside. You just cannot leave a DT or TE alone on him.
Him and von Miller are the quickest off the snap. Such a good investment at less than 20mil a year even with the tendinitis

Why is bosa in coverage would have been a QB sandwich the way ford crossed the field so quick

Disguising Pressure, looks like Kwon came with the heat on that play. They did it a couple times yesterday with Ford/Blair as well

Dropping DEs into coverage is something a lot of teams do in order to set up pressure on the opposite side. When it works, the drop is rarely noticed as the action is all away from what he is doing. When it doesn't work, everyone notices because it is usually a speed mismatch that gets killed. All part of the chess match.

It's the defensive equivalent of a screen pass.
