I'm thinking if the 49ers win against the Steelers, they should rest Ford in the Browns game, and then let him play against the Rams. That might preserve his health or at least extent his playing time another couple of weeks. I think towards the latter half of the season, sometime when the weather gets cold and the ground gets harder, that's when his knee gives out (for example - the Baltimore and Packers game). Hope not, but I just don't like the fact that he has to wait till Friday to feel better and possibly play on sunday. He's missing practice, and while that's not a real big deal because he's a pass rusher, in the playoffs - those little penalties and mistakes -- because he didn't practice -- will be the difference in winning and losing.

I want him to play sparingly, at least, in the Brownies game.

I want him to sack Baker at least once, then he could sit out if need be...

I'm thinking the Rams and the Ravens will (Hopefully) beat the browns into submission that by the time we play them, they will be so shellshocked, we won't need to play Ford at all. I hope when we play the browns, they should be 1-3

If anything rest him during the Pitt game and after the bye let him play against the Browns is better.
He's playing

18 snaps, 3 hurries, sack, forced fumble 🤘🏼

Please stay healthy the rest of the season.
This guy is worth EVERY PENNY and whatever 2nd round pick KC decides to use it on.
Even with a knee injury he's still a bullet off the edge.

To bad his knee is broken and he was unable to sack the QB today, we could've really used him out there...looks like you guys saying he was done were right.

Yeah NO ONE was saying he is broken.

Having concern about the longterm future =/= broken
