Nah, Deebo can be replaced with a RB and a solid WR. He's not worth 25 mil +

He was 1st in the NFL in yards per reception and 2nd in yards per route run. That's not a "solid" WR.

as a rusher he avg 11.4 YPC lol please

Anyone can do that.
We had the YAC bros and RAC cousin

not easily replaced but we don't completely lose our offense.. now if jimmy is still the starter...then we probably will lol

No, that's not enough for Deebo. The trade conversation needs to start at two 1st's, two 2nd's, a 3rd, and a starter. Otherwise we no trade.

lol.

Thats quite the asking price for a one year wonder non-QB with an injury history. Just package him with Jimmy and ship them both to the Panthers for the 6th pick and be done with it.

Yup, That's the point, to scare off trades.

Trade Deebo and Jimmy to Carolina for the 6th pick. Wash our hands of both guys who dont want to be here, and grab a premium draft pick in a year we originally weren't even picking in the 1st.

Or…. Extend Deebo and cut Jimmy once he's healthy.

lol so pay Deebo 100+ mil so he can get hurt all the time and get rid of Jimmy for nothing? Yeah I'll pass on that plan.

Getting rid of Deebo makes the team worse and Trey's job much harder.

He is worth $25 mil per year.

Not if he's exclusively playing WR. He doesn't want to be a "wideback" anymore.

He's worth every penny, even if he exclusively plays WR. If he's used like he was last season he deserves more.

He probably feels like he would still be elite playing as a traditional WR and that our initial offers were essentially punishing him for being so versatile and willing to do whatever the coaches asked him to.

Yep and he was the most elite WR in the NFL until they moved him to the backfield role part time.

Elite is a tag I would give to Jerry Rice. Not Deebo Samuel. Deebo is very good. He also owes a lot to Kyle Shanahan's offense.

Like Pettis, Hurd etc?

If that's true....gonna have to rise the price SF

Again it's April not June...early negations and his agent needs to get that.

Which ties into him taking that personally. I don't blame him for getting pissed off, that is insulting lol. I just think he has handled it wrong. He should have kept it private and never said a word etc. Also, I wish these kids would realize social media SUCKS.

So we should just assume the team is gonna come to the table with whatever he wants to hear lmao. That's not offensive what so ever for a first offer. My god

Right? I don't understand why it's so hard to get the fact that it's just an opening offer, and likely not were the deal will be when all is said and done.

What we have heard is this is their top offer. Maybe now they are trying, but they pissed him off. I mean until we know the facts, we are all just spitting out ideas lol

Just think, we get to go through this again with Bosa in the near future.

2023 offseason gonna be lit.

He's due for an extension right now.

Thank god we have Jimmie Ward on the roster. Definitely don't need any cap space rn.

I mean what r they supposed to say. Uh this is just a low ball initial offer ignore it. "Top offer" is whatever is on the table. Common sense would be the initial offer is not the end all be all.

Yup, there's certainly more too it. I mean do we really think Deebo is a diva? Maybe a bit immature is all we could all agree on, but otherwise he's been a fantastic player and teammate etc. Something went sideways on this big time.

My predication of an 18MM offer for Deebo was pretty accurate if true. But that's Christian Kirk money (thanks Baalke) and it ain't enough. Just pay the man and let's get this done! My understanding is Kyle had to get involved and override Paraag when they were signing Trent Williams. Do it again! As many of noted, doesn't seem like Kyle, Jed, Paraag and Lynch are on the same page!!!! Let's get this done.

Even if we do get a top 10 pick, the available receivers are fine but they ain't Deebo! Pay the man!

If that is true that IS disrespectful. Given the market, and the player, I don't know how Paraag Marathe (or Lynch, or whoever) can fix their mouth to offer that crap to Deebo. Under $19 mil? Give me a break. That bad even for an opening offer.

All of these secondary concerns that are being brought up magically go away once Deebo is paid!

Kyle to the rescue! We have no other choice.

If money isn't an issue and Shanny promises not to use Deebo like a running back what's the problem?
I'm all for paying him but I'm getting Antonio Brown vibes as far as potential drama. I don't think he's as s**tty as a human but with all of these early clues such as social media scrub and his brother dropping hints this early into the process, who's to say he won't cause further issues?
