which would you take ?
Jets or Pats for me.
Packers and Eagles packages are garbage.

I believe both are at a standoff.
1. 49ers could stand firm and just keep hitting him with the tag until he submits. Two years should be enough to change his mind if he really does just want a contract and play.
2. Deebo can holdout and possibly retire, sure he might face hefty fines. But in the end if a contract is worked out he could ask the 49ers to take care of them. He could also just retire and sit out the year and the 49ers might just say screw it we don't need this drama then trade him.
Most of the time from what I've seen, the player just ends up getting traded.
So what's the trade scenario? Coming off an All-Pro campaign?
Deebo and #93 to Houston for #13, #37, and #68?
Too rich? Not enough?

Ouch..not wanting to make him the highest paid is one thing but not wanting to give him 25 a year is nuts. I sure as hell would demand a trade if i were him. Especially after seeing Christian Kirks contract

I honestly don't get the flip. After the season ended he was posting pictures and video's and captioning it "WIDE BACK" like he was proud of it. Now all of a sudden he doens't like how he was used. Sounds like it's his agent filling his head with crap. That would be my guess, and deebo is stuck looking like a child throwing a tantrum on social media cuz he got his feelings hurt while the agent just sits back and tells him what to say. 49ers have rewarded the guys who have earned it, but they usually don't reward the ones that demand it because they are better than everyone and deserve top money. Staley did'nt operate that way, Patrick Willis didn't operate that way, Kittle didn't operate that way, Fred Warner didn't operate that way either. Good luck Deebo, thanks for the pretty good 3 years you played.
Did he get a new Girlfriend recently or something? Feels like someone is pumping his head up with nonsense.
Probably his "homeboys"

I read that Kawasaki article and I believe this is the issue.
It's always money.
However in Deebo's particular case it's...wait. You use me in a unique manner because that's my skillset and it works... granted it calls for more wear and tear on a man's body, but now you will use that against me in a contract negotiation?
I would be furious too. You draft this guy and will use every ounce of his ability on the field, but won't pay him a ballpark top value contract because he could get hurt? That's basically entrapment lol
If we are coming in that low for an offer then for sure Lynch and co are a*****es. This will NOT help the locker room at all and Kyle will lose the players respect.

Very high on Aiyuk and think he breaks out this year. I like the idea of Trey + Aiyuk long term more than Trey + Deebo short term and it would only be short term no matter what happens in the next few weeks/months.
If we can keep Deebo for a couple more years and sign Aiyuk long term that would be ideal. I'd be happier with that than a long term Deebo deal and losing Aiyuk.
Jennings continuing to improve would also really help soften the blow.

We wound up with Wiggins and Kuminga. Sounds good to me.

And to be honest I wanted KD gone. I'm in the minority here but I have way more fun watching the team with Harrison Barnes than him. I didn't like just knowing we were going to win every game there was no suspense.

Agreed, and I don't want him in the NFC, plus give him the least attractive QB and scenario in the AFC. So the Jets !

Jimmy needs a home first so we know where to send him.
