Well this isn't true, right? They've said it's about keeping Jimmy G cause he's a good mid NFL QB and we can potentially trade him for draft pick. Maybe when his shoulder is healthy? Or if a team out there loses a Qb to injury? Maybe we keep Jimmy G because it creates a Joe Montana / Steve Young situation? Who knows.

We love draft picks around here. I mean it makes sense. Threaten to trade key players like Deebo Samuel for draft picks!!! Keep Jimmy G for draft picks. Atleast it's consistent.

Hell no. HELL NO. 2 1sts with the one in this draft in the top 10-15 and that would be to get a seat at the table. Dude should have been the MVP last year.

I am pretty confident they will find a way to trade Jimmy and his salary before camp opens. That said, having to pay Deebo and Bosa over $20M each could really screw the cap situation. Looks like it is the only way to keep them with recent signing amounts. Hope the cap limit goes up a whole heck of a lot the next couple of years and we can hit on some draft picks and their associated rookie contracts or might spell big trouble for years to come.

Would like to see him do it again honestly. The money he wants it would be a disaster if he had another injury riddled season.
