again where is the complaining about Kittle not in CA right now? Where was the complaining about him not training with Jimmy?

You're focusing on a pretty minor part of this. He should be making some effort to develop a rapport with Trey. The potentially highest paid player on your team should be going the extra mile. Jimmy and Kittle are irrelevant to that.

The biggest problem is him airing his discontentment with the contract situation publicly. There's no reason for him to do that. It's also a legitimate question whether he's worth paying "the most money ever for a non-QB", which he reportedly wants. He was a huge part of the team's success last year, but it is just one year and he's not proven that he can consistently produce at an elite level in the passing game. He's also missed games due to injury every season and was playing through injury at the end of last year.

My favorite part about this free website is the ability of posters to turn all of those with an opposing POV into a monolith - as if all fans think the same, no nuance.

If the reports are true, that he's demanding to be the highest paid non-QB, then we'll have to franchise him. Forget about the question of if he's worth that or not, there's no way we can afford to pay him - or any player - that amount. If those reports are true the discussing his worth is pointless.
