They would probally be willing to trade one of them though and the #6 pick for Deebo and Jimmy. If we have to trade Deebo, The Panthers are probally the best suitor because we can get that top 10 pick, plus getting Deebo's replacement in CMC that could do alot of what Deebo does and we are able to get rid of Jimmy. Instead of having a WR slash RB, We get a RB slash WR. CMC is only 25 and just a couple of years ago had over 1300 yards rushing and over 1000 yards receiving.

We can't pay Deebo BUT we can take on a often injured RB who's cap hit balloons to around $20M in a yr, afford to pay TWO elite EDGES, eat $18M of Darnold's contract, and take on the cap hit of the 6th overall pick LOL.

Oh and the Panthers would NEVER do that in a million years

Burns is good but we will have to pay him top dollar and we are already going to have to pay Bosa that. Cannot invest that much money into one position.
People think Deebo is injury prone, McCaffery is injured every game he plays in these days.
Would not touch Darnold with a ten foot pole.
#6 would be nice but again, how great have we drafted in the top ten aside from Bosa (Thomas and Glinch) - draft picks are unknown

So yeah, meh. I want to keep Deebo as I think he is the non QB best offensive player in the league. To each their own i guess.

Many are simply dismissing this like it doesn't matter. I love Deebo, but he's dealt with lower body injuries EVERY single year of his football career.

The funny part is the same people will be screaming to fire Lynch if he's gives him what he wants and it blows up in his face AGAIN.

The crazy part is I don't think our front office is against giving him his money, but I bet the two sides aren't even in the same same ball park when it comes to the injury and performance clauses that protect the team if his injuries continue.

The problem with this is he loses trade value. We get him for 2 more years and lose him for nothing. I think you either need to extend him this offseason or look to trade him. Right now you could get a haul for him. In a year he won't have that value because teams won't have that a year of him being cheap and they would know the Niners are desperate to move him since things will probally be very sour at that point.
