Took him 2-3 years to get to this point. Remind us all we need to be patient and let these guys work at it.

Let's go Aiyuk!!!

Perhaps I am reading it wrong but isn't Ja'marr Chase leading the league with 17.5 yards per touch?

Not sure where you got the numbers for Chase, but for Deebo under total yards>yards/touch, he has 16yds average. So every time he touches the ball whether catching or getting it behind the LOS , he gets 16 yds average

Yes. Under Y/Tch Deebo is 16.0 and Ja'marr is at 17.5

Agreed - I was just thinking more about the Boldin comparison in watching Deebo this last game. Both tough receivers who make plays. Deebo might have more speed than Boldin in his prime...Boldin had better hands but hopefully Deebo will continue to improve in that area.

There is very little about fantasy football that I feel you should apply to real football when evaluating player growth, but there is one fantasy trope I have long believed in. That is the idea that you should always wait until year three to truly evaluate what a WR is going to be for the rest of his career. At year three you are seeing who they really are going to be in the NFL.
Deebo reminds more of a bigger and stronger Randle El minus the qb skills.

I don't even see Chase on that list. Per the link:

Deebo 16
Justin Jefferson 13.7
Davante Adam's 13.3
Cooper Kupp 13.2

Chase disappears from the table if you sort the list by Y/Tch because he doesn't have 6.25 touches per scheduled game.
Guy is legit. Which always made me wonder why the Aiyuk pick that high, with Kittle and Juszczyk and all. There's only one ball! I think there are good guys later in the draft that turn out to be great complementary players to WR1.

It's because the downside of pass catchers who get yards after contact like RB's is that they have injuries and short careers like RB's. So it's best to spread that load.

Please correct me if I am wrong, but isn't Aiyuk more of a speed guy?

Hopefully the fans will see more of that speed as the season moves forward.

We should have drafted a WR higher. At this point, that's indisputable.
