Doin it as a#1 WR. If we really want to feature him as our star, when Kittles gets back, Debo will have easier looks, let's give him the ball and see what damage he can do. I know his production will go down when kittles gets back, but let's reward Debo and treat him like the star and feed him.
goodness. Deebo is playing lights out. Thankful that we have him.
2nd in the league in receiving yards and he's played 1 less game
I love how fickle the board is.

A lot of people feel like he isn't a true wide receiver and he's way too injury prone for a big contract. Do people still feel that way? Should we deal him while his stock is highest and get some of the draft pieces we threw away on Trey?

We shouldn't trade him because he's the outlier of our ability in drafting WR so far lol

Lynchahan has like two players who performed well after a big contract extension (K'waun Williams, Laken Tomlinson).
They either regressed to the mean (Armstead, Ward, Tartt, Juice) or are getting regularly injured (Jimmy, Kittle, Mostert).

Hey, i get yah… but we might not know that yet.

deebo didn't get the luxury of starting his career with Steve Young throwing the ball to him or Jerry Rice on the other side of him.

TO is like wayyyyyy up there you could make an argument for any of the 2-3-4-5 wr all time depending on what you want from a WR. If you wanted to go TO number 2 all time I'm not gonna argue with you because of the TDs and him being blacked balled at the end of his career.

Its easy to say Deebo is not a top 5 WR all time, but right now he is giving a performance worthy of some of those dudes who get listed in the top 5 all time.

As a 49er fan the only guys you can compare him to is Rice and TO and he is on pace to beat both of their top yardage seasons and this ain't Joe Montana or Steve Young throwing the ball… hell this isn't even Jeff Garcia…..

All he needs to do is put up 2-3 years of similar production and he can be in the conversation. But in terms of YAC, him and TO are in their own group right now even with limited years under his belt.
What a badass

The thing that really separate TO was touchdowns. He wasn't the biggest yards guy (total yards, not YAC) but who cares about yards when you're scoring TDs? Deebo may get there but TO was just different. Aside from supreme YAC ability, I never saw TO get caught from behind. He was a horse.

TO is also 3rd all-time in yardage, so he was a pretty big yards guy too.

Comparing Deebo to TO makes zero sense at this point. For one, they're completely different types of receivers. TO was a better version of DK Metcalf. Deebo is more like Steve Smith.
I want to see more deep passing to Deebo, more spread looks, just the threat of it forces defenses to back off a bit.
