People who have never played have no idea how hard it is to gain weight during the season as a player. You're literally burning a week's worth of calories on gamedays. Throw in the practices and weight room, and it's impossible to outeat your caloric deficit, let alone put on 10 lbs in 3 weeks.

Like the idea is so dumb that it's offensive.

LOL, I gain all kinds of weight during the season NOW. Oh, wait, you said as a player. In college, the training staff made me add ice cream to every lunch and dinner to try and slow my weight loss. That was in addition to me eating a family size Godfather's pizza by myself (with a salad bowl of ranch dressing to dip it in) at least once a week.

Man, I miss having a metabolism.

BUt yeah, there's no way he gained 10 pounds in 3 weeks midseason. Love you mayo, but you're missing the mark on this one.

I might be wrong on this - but, putting on 10 pounds in a month is not a huge thing.

I mean, I could probably do it in a weekend. But a starting WR is probably burning 4000-6000 Calories a day, and it takes over 2000 completely unused Calories to make 1 new pound of fat, So we're talking about this dude consuming 104,000-146,000 Calories in 3 weeks. The average human needs about 42,000 calories in that time frame. That's crazy, imo.

I mean if I went full Wade Boggs style and crushed like 4 30 racks in a weekend, I could probably throw on 10 lbs of fat....but like you said, realistically that s**t is impossible for a elite athlete to put on that kinda of fat in 3 weeks mid season.

I have no idea why anyone would want him to be thinner anyway. Dude still has speed and is a mac truck with the ball in his hands. That's why kyle loves him, he get's the YAC and is hard to tackle.

It is 3,500 calories, not 2,000.

Dude would have to eat butter and drink olive oil to get enough calories to put on weight that fast lol

It is 3,500 calories, not 2,000.

I was going to say this too -- 3,500 [net-gained] calories = 1 actual pound gained, significantly different than water weight which will fluctuate given your intake.
Yea guys. Deebo should lose weight. We need another Dante on this team.

Lol.

But no. Thicc Deebo is best Deebo. Maybe some years down the road when his athleticism has taken a hit he could lose a few lbs but right now his weight is what makes him who he is. Speed is not his problem. He hits the slants quick and we've seen him outrun guys. At the same time though, he's gained so much YAC by just outmuscling guys.

I could be wrong - he has a real thick lower body, his legs are huge.

This thread is now a certified offseason thread right in the middle of a championship push. I don't know how you did it but you did!
Idk why he would lose weight. When he grows into his body, hes gonna be a bad mfr. strength and speed is his game.
More talk of production.

Less talk about weight loss/gain.

Can he accumulate 270+ yards over the last few weeks and top 1,000 all purpose yards? That would be extremely impressive considering. IMHO
