I already expect him to get in shape and play with a chip on his shoulder to show the 9ers "see it wasn't me it was you". Then he'll probably fall back off and be mediocre again

I don't remember seeing anything on the 49ers saying he was out of shape.. you can do a 2021 and 24 pic comparison and they are close. Deebo has never been a skinny guy

accelerating wasn't the main issue imo, there was horrible blocking going on all over the place. Our OL couldn't get to the second level, our WRs couldn't block to save their life. Yes Deebo ain't Deebo of 2021, he wasn't breaking 5 tackles at once all yr…Acting like a 29 yr old is just toast is wild imo.

a ton of teams could use Deebo. Dude would be a perfect fit for DC and what they do.

Not buying this. You have 2 former 49ers staff members (Ryans and Peters) doing Lynch a solid to help drive Deebo's price. I still think it's 80% likely he gets cut. Now if we absorb the penalty this year or next is up to Lynch's approach to free agency this year.

I hope we just absorb it this year. We need cap flex in future years

If the tables were turned, and you were in the WR market, would you trade a 5th (aka the chance of getting a Kittle or Dre again) for a WR that is "out of shape", can't get separation in man coverage, more of a gadget guy, etc? That really limits the demand.

Lots of vet FAs on the open market + pending cap casualties.

So you honestly think teams aren't interested in Deebo at all? Or enough to take on his current deal and would just wait for him to be cut?
