There's no way Jags do this trade.

Going from 11 to 5 in a draft that isnt top heavy and lacks many blue chip prospects, is worth way more than a year of Deebo

we would have to give up pick 5 and deebo to move to 11
Deebo and number 11 to CLE for Myles Garrett
and conditional 3rd that can turn into a 2nd 2026 pick

Why would Cleveland want one year of Deebo over a draft pick ?

I could see Deebo, #11 and a conditional future 3rd or 4th getting it done. Trade down value won't be great in this draft due to the lack of top end QB prospects.
Deebo and the 11th isn't even enough to move us to 10. His film was terrible this year and he's getting chubby. Hes a bruiser with a short shelf life. Love what he's done for us, but we'll be lucky to get anything beyond the little bit of cap savings by moving him.

The timing doesn't help, either. Requesting a trade immediately after the exit interview suggests he was informed he doesn't have a future here.

I'd imagine he'll get cut, not traded

Yup. June 1 cut. Why would anyone want a bloated player with a bloated contract and a bad attitude.

Agree. Hope and pray for 4th rounder at best. Most likely cut candidate, unless somebody really sees something in him that they really want on their team. In the AFC most of the teams have a need at WR, but I'm sure Deebo is nobody's first choice.

i said AND the 11th AND a conditional
I'd be surprised if the Commanders aren't in on Deebo. Obviously the connection with Peters is there, and Daniels could use another weapon. Texans would make sense as well.

So many are gonna be surprised when Deebo actually gets traded instead of cut. Thinking he isn't worth anything is funny, a team will trade for him just the fact they can get him without having to bid against another team. There's a lot of desperate teams out there

I heard you the first time, youre not hearing me.

Deebo is worth 3rd rounder at best. If Cleveland even wants Deebo, they could just get a second from another team and then use it to trade down and trade for Deebo

If youre a Cleveland GM, what would you rather get:

1st round, 2nd round and a conditional pick
or
1st round, Deebo rental for a year and a conditional pick ?

I think the choice is crystal clear here; thats the point- if youre Cleveland, you're rebuilding and you want picks, not player rentals that dont tip the scale one way or the other (insert fat Deebo joke here).

Unlike Niner fans, other teams GMs want their team to get better deals.

Its not just the performance or the attitude. Its the contract too.
