Yeah basically
The report was Deebo asked for a trade in the exit interview. I'm shocked he would ask. I'd like him to play out his deal and we get a motivated Deebo. But I'm glad the team isn't trying to move mountains to keep him. Figured there would be a natural end after 2026.

By all means gtfo. Overpaid, overrated. Excited for a good signing + the other WR's stepping up

No addition by subtraction he contributed very little this season.

If Deebo was the one wanting a new team then so be it.

His presence on the field enticed Kyle to call the lame sweeps and runs that Deebo was dominate with 2 seasons ago, but has kind of lacked executing the last 2, so yeah addition by subtraction.

I don't see him getting traded. $35 mil cap hit. Post June 1st cut.
Maybe seeing his boy AJ Brown beat the Chiefs inspires him to play out his last year of his contract.

I doesn't make a lot of sense that he would if his goal is one last payday.

If anything it will get rid of his jet sweep that was a negative play all season

My guess would be he's one of those guys that still wants to be a starter and doesn't want to take a bench role. Probably just doesn't want to ride the pine even if he's getting paid. That's where he should be though.
