lol! Now I'm back to checking out WR in the draft. No Deebo and a broken Aiyuk, so we only got JJ, Cowing and Ricky P to start the season. Also , depending on what we do on free agency or the trade front, I wouldn't be shocked if Shanahan uses a high pick on a WR whether it's or first or second round pick. Im team Trade down now from our pick 11.
I just said I don't want to spend high picks on WE but it seems this position contains the most sociopaths so maybe drafting them all the time is the best way? Lol
theh get god and greedy. F em. Boot em and play the next younger guy etc.

Thats why today's 9er fan is so impressed by a one season wonder Deebo. He had one good season. Hes overrated and over paid. Can't wait to see him gone.
2023 wasn't a good season?
I watched Craig and Rice. As someone said earlier just because he wasn't a HoF'er doesn't mean he wasn't a very good 49er.
Okay, give him 2 good season. Is that suppose to be impressive?

The reality is he was very good when he was healthy, with the exception of last year. He was injured more often than not due to his versatility and playstyle and the way he used him accordingly. He was impressive, lol.

Addition by subtraction. Trade him for a package of hot dogs. See ya!

He has been disappointing post contract. Injuries, not motivated, whatever the excuse is.

For chunks of it, sure. He has trouble staying healthy. He was a critical piece in our SB season last year however. It's time to move on but he was a big contributor to our success with this group.

He'd eat them before we got them.

Prime Deebo was one of my all-time favorite 49ers to watch. The brand of football I grew up on. Sucks that he never won it all in a Niners uni. One cant help but wonder if he got more touches in the first SB and less touches in the last SB whether the results would be different.
Oh and correct me if Im wrong, but that deal restructure put us in more of a hole dead cap wise ? I don't get why the Niners FO keeps on doing this.

I can picture our long snapper reading this news, opening a cold beer, and chilling out.

I highly doubt anyone trades anything for him. He'll end up getting released and then we will get another notification of it being them doing him a favor and letting him choose where he wants to go. Book it

Should've traded him last offseason if we're being honest. Trading him at his lowest value with a big dead cap hit is the worst possible return.

Some of you are forgetting how much Shanahan loves Deebo. And how much power Shanahan has.
You're conflating your fan view of Deebo's value with what it will take for Shanahan to move on from his boy. He can always just do nothing. He's already taking the cap hit regardless.

Are you calling Deebo a kid?
If so, that is dumb.
Niners gonna draft another WR
