Early indications are that #49ers WR Deebo Samuel did not suffer a serious injury, sources tell @theScore. I'm told the First-Team All-Pro WR badly twisted his ankle, but the team is optimistic he's okay. Deebo will undergo more tests as a precaution.

Hopefully early indications are true on his ankle. Take it slow with him, we need him in the playoffs. Depending on how bad it is, we probably don't need him the next 2 weeks against the Hawks and Commanders. Rest and rehab that thing and see where we are with it in 2 weeks.

When 49ers wide receiver Deebo Samuel was carted off the field today, it appeared to be a very serious injury. But early indications are that Samuel is going to be OK.
A league source tells PFT that Samuel twisted his ankle but it does not look like a major injury.
It's not yet clear whether Samuel will be healthy enough to play on Thursday night against the Seahawks, but the mere fact that it can't be ruled out is very good news considering how bad the injury looked.
The 49ers are dominating today's game against the Bucs and are the clear favorites to win the NFC West. They should have Samuel with them down the stretch.

Wow, they aren't ruling him out yet for a Thursday game? That is very good news, I would still have him sit out and rehab this week, and see where we are at next week and if he can practice leading up to the Commanders game. We can beat the Seahawks without Deebo, they just lost to the Panthers at home. LOL

That's absolutely great news. Please don't put him in the backfield much anymore. Maybe playoffs only. Plus run outside. Not right up the middle.

We should be able to beat the Seahawks without him. They are not looking very good. And that would secure us a playoff spot.
