I'm hoping for 4 or 5 years, 3 is too short. But, that's probably what he's looking for.

Yeah if I'm the niners I want 5 years easy.

4 years 25-27 million per year. 70+ guaranteed
dude's a baller and a true WR1. he will thrive with lance throwing the deep ball. already has two long tds from lance in barely any playing time

I can dig it.

Am I the only one happy with this news? I like the 3 year plan.

I have doubts Deebo will be productive in his later years and 3 years should be his prime. Plus he gets injured a ton.

imo mistake for Deebo to bet on his durability. Also it's less money right now too.

I think the point is you want to spread that cash out…even if he's past his prime/hurt down the road you can move off him much easier.

It would be 4 yrs total. He's signed this yr. Extension would be 3 yrs on top of that. He won't be a FA until after the 2025 season.

I can live with that.

Fingers crossed.
DK got $31M FGTD
i'm good with 3. Deebo a best but gets injured to much. I think a couple more years of his body taking a pounding and he wont be the same.
I'm getting really tired of the running back stuff potentially being the sticking point here. How can that not be solved with a simple conversation? I don't get it.

He was used as a RB last season because of injuries and QB issues. Not because that's what he is.
Would Deebo have been cheaper had we signed him a few months ago prior to D. Adams, T. Hill, S. Diggs, DK, Cupp, and all the other receivers signing these huge deals?

Seems like our front office is slow and waits to long to make moves (see Jimmy G.).

I think Deebo most likely knew Is worth since the beginning and that's probably the reason he was upset with the 9ers front office, because they low balled him.

I agree with the last part though. 9ers are too slow to sign, extend, release players.

Except that he said on his IG live that he didn't have an offer.
