allows Deebo to hit the market before he's 30

The Total GTD $ is where Paraag wins (and other areas like annual rip cords). I can't wait to see how Deebo's stacks up here.

How is Deebo worth more?

Terry 3yr avg - 74 catch, 1030 yds, 5 Td
Deebo - 56 catch, 866 yds, 3 Tds

These are receiving numbers. Deebo of course has some rush numbers mostly 2021. Course, if he doesn't want to be wideback, which is the word I heard, that doesn't factor much going forward.

Keep in mind Terry been doing all his with no real QBs. And no Shanny. Even if you don't like Wentz. I do think it's a QB upgrade from what they had.

Who was 1st team all pro?

I guess you can say Deebo has had the best season.. at least to this point.. but a lot of that is owed to KS and Deebo's usage.

I would say Deebo is a slightly better player but Terry is more consistent and bankable / reliable. If I'm signing a guy to long term mega bucks, I want that guy to be out there each week helping. Deebo's plays with a lot of violence, which is awesome to watch, but I worry for his health sometimes.. I would say a Deebo deal would carry more risk and more reward than a McLaurin deal. About equal in value imo.

Everyone getting paid but deebo. Shame on the niners.

You Can't pay someone who doesn't want to be here.

He doesn't want to be in SF because they are a poverty team.

Deebo doesn't want section 8 money.

They better pay up or he going to skate.

I think the ship has already sailed on this one.

If it hasn't, it's getting close.

So fans want the players to leave everything out on the field and then want to hold it against them when it's time to get payed.

It's a business. Reliability is something you look for in business. You want an employee to be reliable showing up to work. You want your car to be reliable and start when you turn the key.

I watched Rice do it in person back in the day. He would slide to avoid contact, run out of bounds to avoid contact, sure he could have had more 'dawg' in him and tried to truck everyone all the time, his career would have been much shorter. It's on KS to make sure our key guys play with some self preservation out there, coach em up to be reliable the way an MLB manager protects his pitchers and doesn't overtax them with too many innings.

I hope we sign Deebo for at least 4 years.

If we're going off what the 49ers have done with Kittle & Warner, the deals for Deebo & Bosa will be 5yr extensions, so 6 total years.

I'd love a 5 year deal.

If Deebo played like Rice play style he wouldn't be an all pro WR.

If Deebo played like Rice play style he wouldn't be an all pro WR.

The key is to keep him fresh for the playoffs and then use him more creatively in the backfield. Any clutch situation, I want the ball in his hands. Whether it be a hand off, or a pass. He is one of, if not, THE BEST PLAYER WITH THE BALL IN HIS HANDS. He will be a super effective decoy in the backfield this year. If Trey can hit the deep ball with some of the speed we have at receiver, that play action will be insane. You pretty much have to commit 8 in the box if we put Deebo back there due to our run scheme. Danny Gray might get some great one on one coverage opportunities and just be able to outrun some guys. I love Deebo, and I hope when we sign him to a long term deal, he just wants the ball in his hands again, and is all in.

Right. Terry is a good wr but most of his numbers come when the WFT is getting blown out

And some players want everything on the field too get paid and then no longer wants to do it once they do

Yup, and could never do what Deebo does for this offense.

Bro, you already know when the games count, Deebo is going straight to Kyle and demanding the ball by any means necessary. Once those competitive juices get flowing and he's around his brothers, he's going to do whatever it takes to win. Deebo is a dog and an elite competitor. Let's not forget that.
