Good. He's been huge for the secondary this year and adding C2 and varied coverages to Saleh's C3.

I dont know how much i trust this guy

Yeah, who knows with these must-be-first tweets. And I'm not really sure how we'd make a late push unless we gave Saleh the boot and made him DC...since that's what he'd be offered over there. It doesn't add up to me but hope it somehow is true.

DC for Browns now or 49ers in the near future. If no difference in pay, which looks better to anyone that breathes?

Totally agree.

Man I wish we could get compensatory draft picks for the coaches other organizations steal from us.
I'm not worried about offensive assistants since Kyle is the brain, but losing defensive guys will suck. I like youth and continuity in coaches as well.

Turn down a DC job for a team with talent on defense... For maybe in a year... or two.... or three you could be coordinator for the 49ers? Its not an easy choice.

Exactly. Not too mention nobody can guarantee him that Saleh will be gone in the near future. He should take the opportunity now with the Browns IMO

seriously. I think Saleh is a shoe-in for HC next year given that he will have the same or even a better defense next year. I mean who wants to go to the Browns where it will be such an unknown if he will be able to be successful. It could kill his career to take that job but here in SF, he would be taking over one of the most stacked talented defenses in the league which would pave the way for him to become a HC.

The big difference is in the locker room and culture. I mean the Browns best player on defense is suspended for swinging a helmet at a QBs head. Maybe Woods wants the challenge, who knows. Cant argue though that its no guarentee that Salah gets a HC job though.

Why would anyone want to be part of the brownies! That ship continues to keep sinking.
Jed should give him a raise and title of co-defensive coordinator

I don't think giving him the title of co d coordinator would sit too well with the D line coach or some of the other guys. It's not like Woods has been there for a long time.

Agree, just give him a raise, that should do it.

Who cares about the other guys they aren't the ones getting dc job offers.

But they could next year and they would be more likely to leave if he got the assistant HC title. I'm thinking mainly of Kris Kocurek. He's highly thought of.
