Chicago Bears vs. San Francisco 49ers Rebuilding Plan

Trubiski is the modern day Steve DeBerg
So now the bears have to spend probably half of their cap space to re up Massie and Amos. Then they'll have only about 14 mil for the rest of their draft picks and the other 8 or so spots on the roster. Basically they will be hoping for improvement from this current group to go farther next year. After than hard decisions will have to be made for 2020.

Trubisky's 4th q. 7/10 122 yards and a td. Too bad it was for not.

Still, they did better than I projected.

Year 2 of the rebuild:
Projected record: 10-6 / Playoffs / 2nd Place Division
Playoff prediction: 1 playoff win

Zero playoff wins though.

Still miles better than the 9ers. LOL.

No lol

Not at all we almost beat them with all of our backups in. With Jimmy Garoppolo we are a better team than the Bears maybe not as balanced but we will beat them if and when we play them

And the sad thing is it was against the s**tty phi defense and even worse their horrendous secondary.

Maybe they should try rebuilding with a better kicker. Like the guy they cut.

LOL. You know Pace is already writing a blank check for Robbie.

And yet in the record books they'll go down as having won an equal number of playoff games.

Lol
Dude you kill me

I mean, give credit where credit is due and it's ok to not approve of some of the 49ers front office decisions..

That given four years they've done a good job rebuilding? Sure, Pace put together a nice team. Not gonna act like they are world beaters after losing a home playoff game.

Lets see where Lynch and Shanahan have the 49ers in two years.

Are people forgetting that the franchise tag exists?

Everyone knew they'd only go as far as Trubisky this year. The Eagles defense got much better the last quarter of the year. And TBF, statistically, Trubisky did his part. 300 yards, no turnovers and set them up for the game winner. Matched the Superbowl winning QB from last year. Defense did their part giving up only 16. Free agents all did their parts.

But then there's that ST thing fans forget about. Oops.

Incredible season. Nobody picked them to win their division, go 12-4. I had them winning only 1 playoff game. They aren't a balanced team quite yet.

Yes but sometimes a FO will honor the player if he badly wants to leave. We're that kind of FO.
If Fangio leaves that team for Denver, they're done
