Watching them even with their backup QB I was really struck by how great their weapons are especially in the passing game. They have a collection of weapons that are so far superior to ours it just makes me want to cry. It's not even in the same category. Just night and day difference. I can't believe how awesome their weapons are. ~ Desean Jackson - A blazing speedster with multiple 1,000 yard plus seasons. He can take the top off a defense and burn you badly deep. He has awesome return value also. 2nd round pick 2008 (2nd / 49 overall). He should have probably been picked higher looking back on that. He has elite game breaking ability. His slight build and frame dropped him down some. But there was never a question of whether or not he could play or be a game breaker. He always could do that. The combine result says 4.35. Which is plenty fast enough but when you actually watch him play he looks like 4.29 to me. I just can't believe how fast he is. He still looks fast too. I think he got cheated on that recent return he had for a TD which was brought back on a penalty. But it did show his amazing breakaway speed from the rest of the players on the field. ~ OJ Howard - 6'6" 251 lbs. 4.51 speed. Big, strong, fast, tall, rangy, big frame and can catch about anything and runs good routes. 1st round pick 2017 (1st / 19 overall). An absolute stud at Alabama. He appears to be improving in his early pro career each week. ~ Mike Evans - 6'5" 231 lbs. 4.53 speed. Big, strong, fast enough, tall, rangy, big frame and will catch absolutely anything. He has great hands. He runs good routes too. He will fight for the ball in traffic and and high point the ball and take it away from defenders. He will also use his big body to box guys out and muscle the ball down to himself. He's a beast sometimes when fighting for the ball against smaller, weaker DB's. 2014 1st round pick (1st / 7 overall). He is worth that too IMO. Every year he has had 1,000 yards plus receiving and had two 12 TD seasons. So he has been highly productive at TD's also. He was a total beast at Texas A & M. They have Peyton Barber listed as the starting RB on their depth chart. Maybe you could say that is not great. But that would be the only real criticism I can come up with and that is in the running game. But man those passing game weapons to throw to....... Does anybody else see this with them too? I wish we had a collection of weapons like this. Our weapons are so sub par compared to this it's not even funny. We are light years away from this good for passing weapons to throw to. *** Per some of the other posters I will edit this to include Chris Godwin WR and Cameron Brate TE as honorable mention. Not as great as the three I mentioned but pretty good players too.

Our weapons are subpar compared to a lot of teams. Hope that Pettis turns out to be a stud.

Yes I agree. Their weapons are amazing to me. I can't imagine having a team able to throw to that much talent. Wow. You could really move the ball down the field with that much talent. They can even with their 2nd string QB. They move the ball quite a lot with him. The talent that surrounds him is amazing.

Yeah it's really a lot of great weapons out there. I can't believe how good they are. Their passing game looks awesome at times (not all the time) even with a 2nd string QB. That says a lot. It's just so many big, strong, tall, targets with great hands. Plus some blazing speed to take the top off a defense. I wish we had something like what they have. But I don't think we are even close. We are not in the same category. We are light years away from that much talent in the passing game as weapons receiving.

The Rams are also up there with Gurley, Woods, Kupp, and Cooks, they just don't have a great TE.

Yes the Rams have a lot of amazing weapons but lack the TE.

I could care less about Winston but having these guys last year and doing nothing with them might be a bit telling.

Fitzpatrick is a streaky qb but...

Sometimes that offense looks good even under Fitzpatrick. He is streaky and rarely puts a whole game together. But you can easily see the brilliance of those weapons. Wow they have a lot of passing game weapons. Winston is still a little young and learning I suppose. He is a better athlete than between the ears. He makes terrible decisions off the field and you wonder where he is at sometimes. He has all the talent in the world but you wonder if he will ever put it all together.

Winston is not accurate. He can sling it at times, but doesn't have great accuracy. That's why he's so hesitant to take shots down field. Fitz might not be that accurate either, but he's not scared to throw it, and with those weapons, sometimes it's better to be good lucky than good.

Yes he is actually a pretty good player. 6'1" 208 lbs. 4.42 speed at the combine. He had over 1,000 yards at Penn State. 11 TD's was his high at Penn State. I remember him at Penn State. He was a real good player. He is more of a 2nd or 3rd option for this team or even 4th. But he is a real good addition to the other guys. There is no doubt about that. He had 525 yards in 2017. When you consider his backup and supporting role that's actually real good IMO.

I live in Tampa and that's all I heard about all offseason on the radio...they have a ton of talent. They also have Cameron Brate and Godwin.

We need a true #1 WR to go with Goodwin/Pettis. Garcon probably has a short shelf life at this point so I don't see him in the LT plans. The rest of the guys we have are all replaceable scrubs. At TE we got Kittle but we could use a second big athletic TE as well.
