why would people "lose their s**t" if they lost him to the overwhelming favorite? people will only lose their s**t if we aren't willing to offer a record contract for him. but if he wants to go to Dallas regardless of money -- then what can you do?

People on this board will still lose their s**t and won't take excuses. lol. They always do, they get latched on to one player in free agency or the draft, and if we don't sign/pick them they lose it.

They will have about $42M in cap space next season. Lawrence's cap number is currently $17M. They can sign him for a relatively small increase and have a lot left over for Cooper and others.
It is going to come down to whether or not Thomas wants to join Uncle Sherm and an improving young team to stick it to John Schneider and the Seachickens. He will get paid in any case.
