the guy just had multiple top 5 hits in the US. music is a universal language. there's a very specific portion of the US citizenry making this same ENGLISH IN AMERICA!!!!! argument. it's weak but says a lot.

This is an aside, but not being able to speak English in America will put a lower ceiling on your opportunities, particularly in the world of economics and finance. English is the language of that world. Many foreign countries begin teaching English in the fourth grade.

My wife and I often travel into national parks and see many seasonal employees, usually in their early 20s, from other countries who speak English very well having learned it in their schools. Speaking English is a requirement for employment.
