Mack, Day/Mitchell/Jones, Defo & anyone else is a good line. Teams would keep a TE or RB to block on most passing downs. Our defense is completely different.

One 1st rounder, no problem. When they are talking two 1st rounders as a starting point to negotiation, then I think that may be too rich.

Agree completely. Otherwise that first round pick (and whatever else we have to package) goes to an ER in the draft. That we don't have to pay an astronomical salary to. If he was an FA, I would pay him. But giving up those picks and then paying him too is too much for a rebuilding team.
Mack pass rushes.
This front office won't touch him.

I would not be upset about giving up two first rounders for Mack at all but I don't think the odds that Oakland will actually trade him are very high.

Is there a team out there willing to give up a first-round pick (and maybe another pick), plus more than $20 million per year, with $60 million or so fully guaranteed, to get Mack? Maybe there is. He's an incredible player, but that's a hefty price for anyone who doesn't play quarterback. For now the discussion is moot, as I understand it. Inquiries about Mack's availability from other NFL outposts have been quickly met with a no.

Lynch needs to throw the kitchen sink at the Raiders to acquire him. This is a no-brainer!

Why? He is easily one of the top 5 defense players in the NFL. How would he not be worth that?

And the Raiders can still say no. All the reasons why the 49ers or any other team would want him are reasons why Oakland wants to keep him.

How about next year's 1st & 2nd round picks, Reuben Foster, and Jerick McKinnon for Mack?

NO, and McKinnon's contract makes him an unmovable asset.

Why would you get rid of Foster? Kid is trouble and gets nicked up easily but he has all-pro talent
2 firsts? No problem. That's the equivalent of Garnett + s. Thomas.

You're insane
19' 1st and 20' 2nd is the most I'll do for a guy whose still gonna command near 70 mil guaranteed. If raiders say no f**k them and finally draft and develop at least 2 of them early on in the draft

I'd give up two firsts for Mack. He's a top 5 pick that has exceeded expectations. If we get him, barring injury, we'll be picking mid 20's to 32. Trading up to the top 5 from there would cost more than another 1st. And we already know who he is. He'd be expensive but more of a sure thing than anyone we'd draft.

Imagine the impact on Solly and Buckner, too. It's a no brainer IMO. Elite passing O and DL would be absolutely devastating.
Is there any actual news on this guy, or is it all just speculation at this point?
