I don't know. It's very hard esp. when you don't factor in the playcall and protections (which no one is privy too). I've always looked collectively at the unit because the TE's, FB's and RB's are just as responsible. And then the scheme differences (i.e. C in this offense, QB in others). I think if you factor in the type of QB, hits, pressures, these kinds of metrics that can swing wildly on operational definitions, etc. you can get a solid idea but to your point, even those metrics can be so radically different in a single year.
I'll still post everything from hits to PBE and PBWR but I'd like fans to pay more attention to the collective unit than individual players. But that's just me. If you DO keep recognizing a single player, that's generally a bad thing.
