That's not saying much. Definitely nothing to brag about. He was beyond awful last year.

No, he was not awful. On a time that puts a lot of pressure on tackles for an outside running game, Mc was one of the very best run blockers in the league. He had a down year in pass protection but he also had to guess where an inexperienced QB was going to be much of the time.

That is flat out b's. I'll call that. He got bulled, swimmed out, and Was flat out tossed off the screen. He got his QB killed multiple times. There were no inexperienced qbs. The only guesswork was how they would get pancaked. Geez.

For starters, he is a pretty good run blocker which is the main staple of our offense. He can definitely improve in PP but i think a big part of that is coming into camp in top shape. Which I think he will due to it being a contract year. Also, I'm sure he's not too happy about all the crap that was being said about him last year. So I think he'll come in extra motivated.

He better gain some weight and learn how to pass block. All the criticism was completely warranted. Don't care how good his run blocking is. When he is a revolving door in the pass blocking dept that's a huge problem. If you can't protect your QB you won't win. Look no further than the SB the last few years.
