McGlinchey deserves some serious props, he never played a single snap at right guard in his entire career until today and did relatively well. Incredible.

Him, Pettis and Warner all looked pretty good for the circumstances. Alot of youth to look forward to!
They all showed well at times--solidly justifying their draft positions--with room for improvement.

Can't wait for Coleman to get up to speed. This was his grade versus Minnesota last year.

Shon Coleman, OT, 89.6 Grade
Coleman has been showing steady improvement all season, and we have seen his run blocking ability gradually improve. In Week 8 though, Coleman shined as a pass protector and refused to allow a pressure all game. It was a nice bounce back from a bad outing against Tennessee.

I'll save it for when jonnyd puts up the film thread, but had to explain what I meant above.
vs Cover2 Zone. Pettis route designed to take away the Cover2 safety on that side. Mostert out of the backfield attacks the area vacated.

Pettis grabs the attention of the safety. Jimmy is looking for Mostert to flash open. Mostert has to fake outside before working up the field. Gilliam (76) on the ground, got owned by DHunter.

Mostert with a step on the LB and has room to work the endzone. The ball should be off Jimmy's fingertips at about this time, but Jimmy in the arms of Hunter.

Wasn't it a similar situation on the Harrison blitz sack? Jimmy was patting the ball and about to let it rip just as he was hit. Not sure who he was targeting though.

Jimmy was looking towards Taylor's side of the field. Taylor just sat down in the soft spot of this Fire Zone blitz. Jimmy probably would have saw Taylor too, but Harrison came unblocked. Don't wanna derail McG thread so I'll wait for jonnyd.

Looks like he had a decent pocket and could move up and to the right if needed, just one more pass rusher than expected.

Nice breakdown. Hope Coleman is ready to go this week don't wanna see Gilliam again

Gilliam is trash, always hurt and just sucks when he plays. Just worthless, we have a few guys collecting checks for nothing
They need a bigger car for McGlinch

That screenshot doesn't do it service. The blitzer here was flying in here and JG barely had time to duck to avoid a big shot.
I feel bad for him. He is in a very tough spot.

No worries...it's all related (OL).

I like this MM. He's got a nice future here if he keeps grinding.
Watching brieda td, was impressed how close behind the play McG finished. He's a big boy, but looks like he can really follow down field well.
