Yep typical webzone logic
Why not? I go back to Coach Walsh and his 8 and 9 deep along the defensive line. If the price is right go for it.

Not having a salary cap in those days really helped things out.

He'd just be taking snaps at big end from Thomas.

This. Curry really is not even that much better than a Tank Carradine

47 QB pressures for Curry last year.

PFF graded him as top 10 for 4-3 DEs. If the price is right I say yes. Can't have enough of these guys.

Like to have another A.G.N.B. player but these free agents all want to have a good deal for themselves not just a Paraag Marathe team friendly deal. Other then Sherman who represented himself and probably not thinking clearly because he was fresh off of being cut by his former team, these other players aren't coming here unless they are well paid. Can't say I blame them playing a sport that your next play can always be your last,
Pressures are nice, but slightly overrated at times. Curry is similar to Armstead in that he gets close enough to log a pressure/hurry, but he doesn't possess the ability finish the play. PFF Rewards th for it, but teams know their impact isn't he sack as a real sack threat.

His pressures will never result in sacks. He's good. He's just not an impact player. He a fine player, but he doesn't reduce our need to draft a speed rusher. If we didn't have Solomon I'd be all about him, but he doesn't add a whole lot otherwise.

He's nothing like AA. For one he can play a complete season without landing on IR.
You people are absolutely insane for not wanting curry. For one, you can never have too many pass rushers. Two, he logs hurries like a big dog. Hurries get QBs if their spot which hurts the offense. Third, we don't have a better pass rusher than him on the edge.

And that's really all there is to it.
We have the cap room, his contract won't be for a super long term, I would bring in guys who can pressure because while pressures don't necessarily result in sacks for him, it does result in sacks for other guys out there.

3 down LEO come on brah...he's a situational pass rusher and is about to get overpaid by some team. We need quick twitch edge rushers. Teams aren't game planing for curry. Look at the guys lynch has brought in to be edge rushers, he doesn't fit that mold.

And your plan would be?????
