The Chiefs restructure Mahomes contract every single season. His cap hit in 2026 is $75 Million and 2027 is $71 Million. C Jones cap hit in 2026 is $46 Million, 2027 $39 Million, and 2028 $46 Million. And this is a player who turns 31 in July. I see them cutting him in a couple of years and taking the dead cap hit. The Chiefs window will be closing soon. Remember Reid is not getting any younger and neither is Spags. Kelce is on the steady decline.

Facts. They have already hit their low in terms of talent on offense. I don't expect them to be a mid offense three seasons in a row.

If they minimize Mahomes' cap hits through 2028 via restructure, his cap hits will be 34.7M in 2026, 44.8M in 2027, and 43.3M in 2028 plus upto 2.5M in incentives each year if the previous year. 1.25M for MVP+Champ Game appearance. 1.25 for Super Bowl win+50% snap in reg season or super bowl.

They will contend as long as Mahomes is there. They will fill the other positions as age and retirement come. Chiefs will never be off the board with Mahomes.

Xavier Worth has a dislocated shoulder from that crossing route. When Kelce smashed him so hard. He's a small, slight build guy. Kelce is a big guy. Wow. He may require surgery. Taking their own guys out.
