On the books it will show the Chiefs with the same cap has everyone else but really their payers contracts will be like $100 Million more than most teams. How is that fair?

Yes I know, they will pay for that down the road. But doesn't make a difference if the cap keeps going up.

I agree restructured and void years need to be outlawed. The rams and others over the cap should be forced to release players.

But all these dead cap clauses need to go always too. Once you get your guaranteed money, the club should be able to cut you with 0 dead money. And if a player is traded the whole contract should be the responsibility of the new club. Why do they get to double dip? That's stealing from other players; the team could've used that money to pay other players.

Make contracts simple and strict.

I agree cap manipulation is getting way way out of hand they should allow it but not to the point where you can do what some of these teams are doing

The. Salary. Cap. Isn't. Real.
They should just ditch the cap and let there be a few great teams that stick around awhile.

Lol nah, just most people have no clue how it works. See the TW thread. OMG I CANT BELIEVE WE PAID 140 MIL FOR A LT!!! When in reality its more like 4 years 85-90 mil. And it can be restructured later on if needed.

Eric Fisher is still recovering from his achilles so I doubt they'll go calling for him any time soon.

Then a couple guys leave for free agency and another guy gets hurt. The team starts running into cap issues as players that win always want more money. Getting to the SB once is hard for most teams. Repeating year after year is rare. That's why there have been only about 4 or 5 dynasties in the league since 1950. In those 55 years since the SB started, 27 have been won by the 5 dynasties. (Packers, Steelers, Niners, Cowboys and Patriots) Half by just 5 teams. Some still haven't been to one.

Your 27 is off by 1.

Brady isn't the Patriots.

And the Giants have just as many Super Bowl wins as the Packers do.

The Giants weren't really a dynasty. Their wins were 2 each by 2 different teams. Actually the Packers weren't either except their first 2 which were the tail end of those great Packer teams coached by Lombardi.
