Not the best game by Alex. I'll admit defense helped out big time this week. Hopefully Alex can do better going forward. I enjoy rooting against the Saints, Rams, and Packers so I'll have fun likely getting a chance to root for whoever they face in the playoffs (not sure if Green Bay will make it though).
FULL DISCLOSURE TIME: I picked Tampa Bay to win the game. I was not convinced that Washington could overcome all the injuries on offense and score enough points to the beat the Bucs whose team total YPG is #1 in the league! (yes, that is correct. Bucs = 452. Rams = 448. Chiefs = 423)
Of course I also didn't expect the Bucs to lose two fumbles and Fitz to throw two picks. However, when you don't throw interceptions or give away fumbles, you win the game 78% of the time.
Yes, the defense came through, if you consider "limiting" the opponent to 501 yards

, however, Smith and the rest of the offensive skill players helped out the defense by not turning the ball over. That's how you win games.
