Alex Smith and the Washington Redskins

Hard to argue when all Alex Smith does is WIN in the NFL as a starting QB since 2011, look at the win % and the seasons he has lead his team to the play-offs.

All the other negative noises are just asinine nitpicking.

Furthermore Alex Smith was traded both times for Cap reasons and to get more picks/players to booster the team,
people that still dislike Alex Smith as a NFL player never point out these important facts as the reasons why he was traded.
As in the case of the 49ers, we know how that panned out (the QB that replaced him is no longer in the NFL, the HC was fired), Mahomes and Andy Reid's long term future remains to be seem but I believe they will not be as good next season (others teams have a whole season's game tape on Mahomes, when good players/coaches leave, Pederson left and won the SB with Eagles as HC while Nagy went to the Bears as HC and they are leading their division for once in 10 years, and their Def continue to suck in KC).

If Alex played like he did last year every year in KC he wouldn't have been cut. His problem was Reid already drafted his replacement and just saw him as the bridge then.

Franchise qb's don't get cut for cap reasons. It's funny just how unique to Alex that is.

technically he's right, he did get traded for cap reasons. but you don't away a franchise QB for cap reasons, unless you want to get fired as a GM.
My dude Alex with a hella Alex stat line in the first half: 12/17 103 yards no TDs or picks lol

Ugh, Smith just missed a wide open Davis 50 yards down field. Bad pass.

Redskins D other than last week is very, very good.
4 to's, 2 missed fg's. Wsh's strategy of punting and letting TB hand them the game was marvelous.

Yep. Tampa Bay was moving the ball at will, but couldn't finish any drives. The Redskins will struggle big time against teams like the Texans, Titans and Eagles in the second half of the season.

Fitzpatrick threw for 400 yards and they scored 3 points.
