Huge blunder by Jed York,Lynch and Shanahan. Peters should've been promoted to GM months ago. When things are working well you don't let a guy like Peters get out of the building. EGO's don't win football games. It's one thing if the organization was getting compensation but they're getting nothing.

disagree. Lynch IMO is more of a PR guy and project manager than talent evaluator. Kyle is the mastermind, but to downplay how important Peters was to the roster building is silly.
How can you really know that as a fan? We don't know what all goes into the draft evaluations and pick ups. The info we as fans are given is very limited. The majority of the info is pure speculation and/or unverified rumors.

Agreed with this. So many people have major opinions on what goes on in the front office and no one really has any idea what actually goes on.

This! Lynch has always been very good at keeping everything in-house. We as fans know nothing about what goes on inside. Only time will tell how valuable Peters really was.

Congrats to Peters, this was only a matter of time. The 49ers scouting dept. will be fine. Kyle and John are so well connected in football circles, I expect the front office will not miss Peters. Good hire for WAS
