I'm not saying Peters isn't good but he's not indispensable. It's not like actually losing your GM or HC. There are other people out there that can do the job.

disagree. Lynch IMO is more of a PR guy and project manager than talent evaluator. Kyle is the mastermind, but to downplay how important Peters was to the roster building is silly.

Damn, that sucks. We were lucky to be able to keep him as long as we did. He'll likely take some of our FO personnel with him.

I'm not saying he wasn't good but if he was that important they could have promoted him to GM and given Lynch a bump at the same time. These things happen every year around the league but somehow teams carry on. They'll find someone to replace him and it may turn out to be somebody better. You never know.
