Lol such a useless stat. I argued with the guys above ad nauseum that it has absolutely no bearing on an outcome of a gane at all, ever. Like not even an iota. This is just more evidence, thanks. A 50 yard slant, is no different in any way than a 50 yard bomb. Air yards is the most meaningless fantasy stat in any sport. Especially attempted air yards lol. Giving a guy credit for attempting a long pass even if it's 20 yards off? Lol so dumb.

Meanwhile Purdy is on the bottom of IYA yet he's playing some of the best football of any QB. I hope we can finally put this stupid conversation to rest. It's actually a breath of fresh air nobody cares this stupid stat now that they can't use it to berate a player.

Yeah I was a little sad to see him go as he was here so long but it's easy to see why he wouldn't fit in with this culture- this team is defined by every player doing what they can to win whether that is blocking, decoy, whatever. They do it. For the record I'm not trashing him, I loved the years he was here- I just can see why it was no longer a good fit.

I said the same thing based on how Kyle answered the questions during that time. Without fully calling out Jimmy he did kinda hint that Jimmy could've played.

I get that he didn't want risk a bigger injury and he knew he was gone, but you have a chance to win a SB man.

Dude was always all about the money and subway commercials.
