I knew he was a back up . Lots of people felt Tebow was not an NFL QB .

how the f**k does McDaniels royally f**k that up ..... again

Yup, McNumbnuts gonna McNumbnuts, i question how he was hired again, after he melted down the DEN team, including getting rid of a QB, alienating the star receiver, it's the exact same playbook / recipe, for disaster

Now take JG, my offseason recommendation, was he goes to LAR as QB2. Well they need a QB2, they just hired Wentz off the street. JG went like 7-0 vs Rams or something like that, in regular season of course..

He knows the McVay stuff it's pretty similar to what we run, Stafford was known to have health issues last season. so I see the need in LAR for a QB2 and the fit for JG with McVay. It would have been better, but hey, can't fault JG for taking the big offer, if Vegas is offering it, he's gonna take it.

As worthwhile as citing Jimmys NE experience.

it's JG and McD it's the same ppl,
what has changed?, time has changed for JG, and role has changed for McD, he's no longer OC, he was HC and making a mess of it

that's a sack, so you are at 3rd and 18

BuT what does it matter in terms of showing what kind of player he is? Was a whole 1 1/2 games. His play in NE had no bearing on how he panned out. Neither did a 5 game sample in 2017 anymore than Rob Johnsons 1 game.

Small samples don't show you enough. 2019-2022 Jimmy was basically the same guy all the time minus a handful of really nice performances. Kyle made him look better than he was.

You gotta go off what you gotta go off of, he was eval'd as round 2, and KS and JL saw what they saw
how about this, pull me the post from 2016 / 2017 where you say you ain't on board with this guy, or ain't on board with this contract
or are you doing some sort of hindsight, we didn't win the SB, therefore game..

understand 99% of the fanbase circa 2017 wanted the deal done on JG
you are facing, 4th down

And I was clearly wrong and am never getting on board with judging on a small sample size again. It was clearly a mistske.

Sadly you go to ridiculous lengths to never admit you were wrong. Then try to pretend you told everyone all the same.

wrong on what?

JG did good for us, we went from not winning a game, to having a nice run
he was a part of that success,
we picked the right time to move on
where does the wrong part come in?

well we can use the most recent of JG being a broken, worn down old man

I would say that sticking with Jimmy over potentially getting Brady, Josh Allen, Kirk Cousins, and Matthew Stafford were all mistakes. Who knows how realistic it was to get one of those players, but we definitely would have been better off.

I agree, I think my meaning was, he didn't merit more than the 5 year deal, now if you want to say at any point he merited less, cuz we are getting the GOAT or something, no doubt.

Understand what happened tho, we decided we needed a change after he missed 2 of 3 seasons (2018 and 2020). We had a loaded squad (and ppl fought me on this, told me we weren't loaded). We took Trey flippin Lance. On an investment of all those ones. So consider the moves you propose, vs the move we actually made. Consider who is the top echelon of QBs KS has found, in like 7 years. Its BP and JG. Best he can do folks, to this point. I think part of the reason you were so into Trey, is you wanted off of JG so bad, but you weren't really looking at who Trey was.
