These debates are eerily similar to how some felt about Alex Smith. The guy sucked, but some fans just couldn't get over his 'greatness'.

peak age? this is JG we are talking about
he has scars on the foot, the knee, the shoulder, the everywhere, this season has the back, was ambulanced to the hospital, had what appeared to be several concussions, was in protocol, he's an old 32
I'm the guy who, during last offseason, was saying he should be a backup some place like LAR where guess what, they could use a backup, if you caught Sundays action
i thought LV could get younger at QB with Stidham and a rook, if they wanted to move on from Carr
cheaper, more potential, better health, and can maybe give you the 17 games we all knew JG wasn't gonna give
the prob with JG, if you are watching MNF, Herbert had a free rusher third down just ball out, out of bounds, punt
no contact on the QB
smart play imo, JG has a never let the play die mentality, refuses to throw away, takes hits, it shortens careers, look no further than staying in bounds vs KC, or trying to buck Dolphins off his back, not smart, maybe trying to make a play for the team, but learn to see another down, he never did
I'll ask you this who is more peak, if you needed to win a game, 2017 JG or 2023 JG, I'll be interested in your answer as you feel he's at peak age, if this is golf he's walking to the clubhouse right now, imo, coming off hole 18
LOL

you have achieved max spin, congratulations
Posts like this one are the reason people keep coming back to mock you.
You have no idea how hypocritical you sound.
Hoyer did nearly win 5 games in a row... key word "nearly". From weeks 2-6 the 49ers lost those games by a combined 14 points, or an average of 2.8 points per game.

You're the one trying to achieve max spin by acting like Jimmy made a horrible team unbeatable.
Jimmy was better than Hoyer and Beathard, but also, the team wasn't losing by huge margin with Hoyer besides one game.
Jimmy wasn't leaps and bounds better in 2017 than he was in 2019, 2021, or 2022 like you claim he is. He was just more mobile. He's had the same issues with reading defenses that he had his entire career.
Now that those issues are popping up because he doesn't have Kyle, you blame his poor play on his injuries and his age of all things... you should be ashamed for making that argument.
The players are responsible for their own self-improvement, not Kyle which you blame continuously.
You're the master of the spin... not everyone else.

Yeah this is ridiculous. He won ZERO games. He was 0-9. Stop.
Hoyer was 0-6 and I'm not sure why this is such a hard concept to grasp.
https://www.ninersnation.com/2017/10/15/16479412/49ers-washington-final-score-recap-record-loss-margin-week-6
"The San Francisco 49ers set an NFL record by becoming the first team in history to lose five consecutive games by three points or less. On Sunday, they lost to Washington by two points, and over their last five games they have lost by a grand total of just 13 points.
Kyle Shanahan has spoken at length about how close things have been on the scoreboard. He's noted in the past that the 49ers could easily have been 4-1 if not for a handful of plays. Now we can say that the 49ers could easily have been 5-1 if not for a handful of plays."
Anyone with an ounce of objectivity can acknowledge that team wasn't as bad as their record indicates. Stop trying to ignore that point because it doesn't fit your narrative.

WB, I addressed all that stuff, here's Hoyer and his 5 game win streak, when he won zero in reality, take a look at all that spin:

Okay, so when myself and others argued Hoyer leading the team to an NFL record 5 straight losses of 3 points or less, or that Hoyer nearly won 5 games in a row, you call that "max spin"... that's you addressing it? Lol
You're not 5 years old... you can understand the difference between breaking an NFL record for how close those 5 games were vs losing every game 70-0.
No one is arguing we won those games, there's simply some nuance there that you refuse to acknowledge.
And it's not from a lack of effort on my part or anyone else's, you simply cannot accept a point that contradicts your narrative, that's why we're so often NOT discussing football, because it's like pulling teeth with you to actually acknowledge things like this.

I bring reality and you bring the ol uno reverse, no u convo, complete with max spin cycle, and notice once again, not a drop of NFL football
reality:
JG was a round 2, he flashed some skills in NE, we invested, he was a savoir type in 2017, we bought the contract, and newsflash, when he wasn't injured, we did well as a team. Now the injuries stacked, and that's his downfall, he's injury prone to the max, and now a shell of his former self, he needs to retire, when he is cut in the offseason.
This is all common knowledge, until you get to the WZ, where we have some uncommon ppl and some alternative facts, looking at you over there Mr Att
